Turning your iPhone to grayscale is one of the quickest and simplest ways to promote healthier interaction with your device. Grayscale strips away the eye-catching allure of vibrant colors, which apps use to keep users engaged, reducing the 'digital dopamine' that often leads to addictive scrolling and excessive screen time. The lack of color can make the device less stimulating, helping to curb device usage and promoting an overall healthier amount of screen time engagement.
You should immediately see your phone turn to grayscale.
In the Settings app, Select Accessibility -> Display & Text Size -> Color Filters
Toggle Color Filters On then a select Grayscale in the list that appears
Immediately after you toggle Color Filters On and select Grayscale you should see that your screen is now grayscaled.
That's it! Enjoy a less engaging phone experience.
